A Tribute to Billie Holiday

Gemini nominated singer-songwriter Lily Frost, known for her work on Being Erica and Grey’s Anatomy, brings a new and fresh interpretation to classic songs by the legendary Billie Holiday. Backed by The Debonairs with arrangements that recall the heyday of swing - with just a hint of western swing, Lily blends a period feel with a contemporary style. This performance will appeal to both veteran jazz fans and a young contemporary audience.

To support the release of Lily Swings, Lily and The Debonairs toured all over Canada performing songs from the repertoire of Billie Holiday, to packed houses and standing ovations everywhere.
